Series: Downland Light

As evening settles over the fields at Firle, straw bales catch the last of the light beneath an expansive, shifting sky. Layers of blue, green, gold and rose sweep above the low horizon, echoing the colours of the landscape below. The small scale of the fields against the immense sky captures a fleeting moment when the familiar Downs are transformed by evening light.
