Evening settles over Son Bou as the last warmth of the day moves across the sky and shoreline. A solitary yacht sits beyond the breaking waves, while layers of blue, mauve and soft reflected colour draw the eye along the sweeping curve of the beach. Painted in translucent layers, the work explores the shifting colour and atmosphere of the Menorcan coast after the sun has disappeared.
